The U’s have recorded back-to-back goalless draws against Bristol City and QPR but head to the King Power Stadium with several players sidelined.

Hidde ter Avest – Hamstring
Full-back Hidde ter Avest remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. He is expected to be back next month.
Nik Prelec – Groin
Attacker Nik Prelec is still out with a groin injury. He has recently completed surgery so begins the road to recovery.
Tyler Goodrham – Ankle
Academy graduate Tyler Goodrham has been ruled out for the rest of the season following surgery on his ankle. The 22-year-old was forced off during Oxford’s defeat at Ipswich on New Year’s Day.
Przemyslaw Placheta – Calf
Winger Przemyslaw Placheta remains sidelined with a calf injury. The Pole was also replaced at during Oxford’s defeat at Ipswich.
Jamie Donley – Shoulder
New signing Jamie Donley made his debut against MK Dons but was replaced after just 17 minutes. The midfielder was forced off with concussion but has damaged his shoulder as a result of his fall.
Ben Davies – Calf
Defender Ben Davies felt something in his calf after playing 120 minutes in the FA Cup game at MK Dons. He has missed both league games under Bloomfield.
Michal Helik – Knock
Vice-captain Michal Helik was replaced at half time during the draw against QPR. Bloomfield said he felt something so replaced the Pole as a precaution.

Aaron Ramsey – Hamstring
On-loan midfielder Aaron Ramsey made a five minute cameo before being forced off again during Leicester’s win over Derby last month.
Harry Souttar – ACL
Australia international Harry Souttar hasn’t played since December, 2024, after tearing his Achilles while on loan at Sheffield United. However, he has recently returned to training.
Victor Kristiansen – Knee
Danish defender Victor Kristiansen has recently undergone surgery on a knee injury and still remains sidelined.
Jordan James – Hamstring
Welshman Jordan James went down with a hamstring injury during Leicester’s draw at Wrexham on Tuesday night. He did continue but was replaced five minutes before the break.
Oliver Skipp – Head Injury
Former Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp was forced off 20 minutes from the end in the same game in North Wales.
