As for the Blades, they’ve won three of their last four league games with the other result being a 5-3 defeat at Wrexham on Boxing Day. Chris Wilder’s side have moved away from the bottom three after a poor start to the season under previous head coach, Ruben Selles.

Oxford have three new injury concerns for this game. Nik Prelec missed the trip to Portman Road with a groin injury while Tyler Goodrham and Przemyslaw Placheta were both forced off in the game. They join Matt Phillips, Cameron Brannagan, Hidde ter Avest and Ben Davies on the sidelines.

The U’s could also feature new signing Jamie Donley with the Spurs youngster joining on loan on Friday.

Sheffield United are without Ben Mee, Chiedozie Ogbene, Sydie Peck and Tom Davies who are all out with injury.

Callum O’Hare took his goal tally to seven against Leicester last time out while Will Lankshear also ended his ten-game goal drought in Oxford’s loss at Ipswich, and he sits on six.

The Blades won the reverse fixture in what was their first win of the season after a run of six straight league losses. They also won this fixture 3-0 last season and have picked up ten victories in their last 12 meetings.
