Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up

As for Ipswich, they’ve hit a bit of form of late, notably picking up two wins against league leaders Coventry in the last month. The Tractor Boys won 3-0 at Portman Road before a 2-0 victory at the CBS Arena on Monday night. The former Premier League side did lose against Oxford at Grenoble Road recently but are unbeaten in their last six home games since a 3-0 loss against Charlton in October.

The U’s have no new injury concerns for this game but will be hoping Cameron Brannagan is one that could be in contention.

Ipswich are without Harry Clarke, George Hirst and Conor Townsend, while Sammie Szmodics and Leif Davis are doubts with illness.

Ipswich’s home form is the second best in the league with the Tractor Boys losing just once in their 12 league games at Portman Road. Oxford have picked up nine points on the travels this season.

As mentioned, Oxford won the reverse fixture and lost just once from the last nine meetings between the two sides. However, that was the most recent encounter at Portman Road which the hosts won 3-0. Prior to that, the U’s had three draws and one win from their last four visits to Suffolk.
