As for Swansea, they blew a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at West Brom last time out. The Swans are without a win in six games, having lost their last five consecutive matches.

Ciaron Brown made a surprise appearance against Ipswich last time out despite being forced off in the draw at Norwich earlier in the week. Cameron Brannagan, Matt Phillips and Brodie Spencer remain sidelined. The hosts have no injury concerns for this fixture.

Mark Harris opened his account for the season against the Tractor Boys and he could start for a third consecutive game ahead of top goal scorer, Will Lankshear.

Zan Vipotnik took his tally to seven for the season with his goal against the Baggies, but that was his first in seven games across all competitions.

This game ended 3-3 last season on the final day of the campaign, a week after the U’s secured their second-tier status for another year. However, the Welsh side won the reverse fixture at Grenoble Road. Oxford haven’t won on any of their last five visits to South Wales.

Gary Rowett has a mixed record against Swansea with three wins, four draws and four defeats against them.
