Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up

The U’s are without a win in five but have picked up credible draws at home against Millwall and Middlesbrough during that run. Oxford still have just the one win at home this season but have also drawn with Coventry and Leicester at Grenoble Road.

As for Ipswich, they are unbeaten in their last six league games. Kieran McKenna’s side have also won their last three away games at Hull, Swansea and QPR, respectively. However, they had failed to win in their previous four away games.

Oxford are without Brodie Spencer and skipper Cameron Brannagan for this fixture, while defender Ciaron Brown was also forced off with injury at Carrow Road.

The Tractor Boys are without Wes Burns, Harry Clarke, Alex Palmer, Sammie Szmodics and Conor Townsend for the trip to Grenoble Road.

Jaden Philogene and Jack Clarke both have six goals each for the visiting side. Will Lankshear is still on five but his last goal came recently in the defeat at West Brom.

Oxford won this fixture when the two clubs last met in League One back in 2023. The U’s have lost just once from the last eight meetings against the Tractor Boys but five of those ended in a draw.

Gary Rowett has a good record against Ipswich with four wins and one draw from seven meetings.
