This is a Chelsea predicted lineup for their Premier League clash with Liverpool. The Blues enter this one off the back of a much-needed win over Benfica as they limp towards the international break. Injuries are wearing down an already tired unit as the manager will be without a large number of players going into this one. They take on a Reds side that appears vulnerable after losing their last two fixtures. They travel to Stamford Bridge in need of a win to keep their stranglehold atop the table.
Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Liverpool for Premier League Tie
How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Robert Sanchez is the main option in goal. Filip Jorgensen got a run out in the EFL Cup but his performance looked shaky, opening the door for the former Brighton man to further solidify his spot as the number one. The back line has been chopped and changed with centre-back partnerships involving Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Jorrel Hato in recent weeks. Hato has also played on the left where Marc Cucurella is first-choice.
Right back has been a battle between Malo Gusto and Reece James as the manager aims to keep both men fit and firing. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are the main defensive midfield pivot with Andrey Santos providing an extra option.
Up front, they’ve had Enzo push into the front line as the attacking midfielder where they like to use Facundo Buonanotte as cover for injuries. Pedro Neto, Estevao, Jamie Gittens, and Alejandro Garnacho are the wide options.
Options have been limited in the striker spot with Joao Pedro playing there a lot, he’s been run into the ground almost. Tyrique George has come in to let him rest but the winger is a different profile than needed at such a key spot on the field.
