Team News, Form, and Predicted Lineup for Oxford United

As for Leicester, they have three wins and one defeat from their four league games, picking up a 2-0 victory at home against Birmingham last time out. The Foxes sit in fourth spot in the table following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

The U’s are still without Ciaron Brown and Ole Romeny, while Brodie Spencer remains a doubt, but Gary Rowett has no new injury concerns for this fixture. Greg Leigh is the only one to have played the full 180 minutes while away on international duty with Jamaica so the defender could be rested as a result.

The Foxes are without a few players, including Harry Souttar, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, and Victor Kristiansen. They’ve also lost influential midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, who joined Stuttgart on loan at the end of the transfer window. Ben Nelson, who was on loan at Oxford last season, is yet to feature for Leicester in the league.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides in 31 years, when the clubs played out a 2-2 draw at the Manor Ground. The U’s have managed six wins to Leicester’s 11, with this fixture ending in a stalemate on ten occasions.

Oxford United Predicted Line-up

Jamie Cumming, Hidde ter Avest, Sam Long, Michal Helik, Jack Currie, Cameron Brannagan, Brian De Keersmaecker, Przemyslaw Placheta, Tyler Goodrham, Stan Mills, Will Lankshear.

Result Prediction: Oxford United 1-1 Leicester City
