Everton vs Tottenham confirmed lineups - Everton Closing in on Deal to Sign 'Silky Skills' Attacker

Everton Predicted Lineup vs Aston Villa for September 13

This is an Everton predicted lineup for their Premier League tie against Aston Villa. Some late attacking signings have blown some life into the Toffees as they currently sit in a European spot while the Villans languish in the relegation zone. One team was able to revamp this summer as the other was hitting the PSR ceiling, which has led to very different starts to the campaign.

How Everton Have Lined Up Recently

Jordan Pickford has been the go-to man in goal for the team. The defensive area has been hit by some injuries meaning James Tarkowski and Michael Keane have started as the central pairing. James Garner was forced to deputise at left back but Vitalii Mykolenko is the starter there, Jake O’Brien starts on the right hand side of the defence.

Idrissa Gueye and Tim Iroegbunam have been partnered as the defensive midfield pivot with Ganna and Garner the usual ideal option for David Moyes. Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and  Iliman Ndiaye have been the main three in attacking midfield with Carlos Alcaraz also capable of breaking into the trio. Beto is preferred as the striker but Thierno Barry can deputise.

Everton Recent Form & Tactics

Moyes has utilised a compact 4-2-3-1 so far in his return to the team. Like previous manager Sean Dyche he is defensive-minded and doesn’t mind losing the possession battle with his side preferring to counter, score off a set piece, or pounce on a mistake. The one major difference since moving on from Dyche is the press utilised; it aims to catch out opposition build-up a bit more to create chances in transition.

After an absolutely dismal opening day against Leeds United, the team has bounced back, beating Wolves, Mansfield, and Brighton & Hove Albion. Dewsbury-Hall settling in and the late window arrival of Grealish have revamped what was initially a misfiring attack to get the side over the line in matches.

Everton Injuries to Consider

There could be as many as five absentees for this upcoming fixture according to PremierInjuries. Jarrad Bantwaithe is out for some time still, Adam Aznou, Mykolenko, Ndiaye, and Nathan Patterson are all doubts for this one.
