The Times has also reported on the potential departure of Martinelli, floating the idea he could depart as part of a clear-out at the Emirates. It is suggested that Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson, Jakub Kiwior, Fábio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga could also depart as Arsenal look to bring down the club’s wage bill.

Gabriel Martinelli to Bayern Munich

Martinelli’s contract is due to expire in 2027, with Arsenal’s hierarchy reportedly looking for offers in excess of £50 million. However, it is also reported that the North London club could take up the option and extend Martinelli’s deal by a further year.
