Fresh from an extraordinary 5-4 extra time Europa league quarter final win over Olympique Lyonnais on Thursday, Manchester United will once again be confronted with Premier League reality this Sunday as they take on in-form Wolves at Old Trafford (2PM kick off). Here is the Manchester United predicted lineup for the clash.
Manchester United Predicted Lineup vs Wolves
How Manchester United Have Lined-up Recently
The goalkeeping position has been up for grabs recently, with André Onana’s poor form allowing number 2 Altay Bayindir to start in the 4-1 defeat at Newcastle last Sunday. The Cameroonian retains the backing of Ruben Amorim.
In defence, Noussair Mazraoui, Harry Maguire and Lény Yoro have been the back three of choice of late, with Victor Lindelof stepping in to cover injuries.

Amorim seems to have settled on Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu as wing-backs, with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte the midfield pairing of choice. Christian Eriksen is the main cover in that position.
In attacking midfield, Captain Bruno Fernandes has excelled this season, with Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee occupying the other flank at different stages. Rasmus Hojlund, despite poor form, has kept his place at number 9.
Manchester United Recent Form and Tactics
Despite Thursday’s dramatic victory, the Red Devils are winless in 90 minutes in a month, the last success coming in the 3-0 win against Leicester City at King Power Stadium on 16th March. Whilst results haven’t been great recently, there are signs that Amorim’s squad are beginning to adapt to the demands of the Portuguese manager, with players such as Fernandes, Yoro, and Zirkzee excelling of late. Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has also come back into form, looking fitter and stronger and contributing at both ends of the field.
Manchester United Injuries to Consider
Toby Collyer, Jonny Evans, Matthijs de Ligt and Aydon Heaven have all been ruled out of this fixture, but could all return to action within the next two weeks. Amad Diallo is expected back before the season, with Zirkzee and Lisandro Martinez longer term absentees.
