Manchester City Team News

Ederson is starting in goal with Rico Lewis, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, and Nico O’Reilly in the back line. Nico Gonzalez is back in midfield with Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan, and Kevin de Bruyne also in midfield with James McAtee and Omar Marmoush rounding out the eleven.

Notable Changes

There are some notable changes like Lewis being trusted at right back, McAtee getting a chance to help out the attack and an expected change with Gonzalez likely coming in at the base of midfield to protect on counterattacks. Against Manchester United there was a midfield diamond on show and it looks like that could be the setup today as well with De Bruyne at the top as McAtee and Marmoush play as the forwards, Kovacic and Gundogan would be the wide midfielders to help keep the ball in the centre.
