Chelsea Team News

Rob Sanchez starts with a back four of Reece James, Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah, and Marc Cucurella, Moises Caicedo partners a returning Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in midfield with Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, and Nicolas Jackson making up the attacking four.

Filip Jorgensen is on the bench along with Axel Disasi, Josh Acheampong, Malo Gusto, Tyrique George, Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, and Marc Guiu

Notable Changes

There are some interesting moves made by the manager to navigate injuries. Dewsbury-Hall makes a surprising return in midfield despite not playing a lot of football recently. None of Cesare Casadei, Renato Veiga, or Enzo Fernandez even made the bench leaving the team lacking in that position.

Chalobah immediately starts after his return from loan with Tosin getting the nod over Acheampong to partner him, presumably filling in as a CCB in a back three as opposed to the right-sided player like Acheampong tends to be.

Neto and Madueke are on the wings with Sancho and George as subs, this should see Neto move to the left where he can help defensively.
