Chelsea Team News

Rob Sanchez starts in goal with a back line of Moises Caicedo, Levi Colwill, Josh Acheampong, and Marc Cucurella. Romeo Lavia and Enzo Fernandez are the deeper midfield pairing with Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, and Nicolas Jackson leading the line.

On the bench is Filip Jorgensen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Renato Veiga, Malo Gusto, Reece James, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, Marc Guiu.

Chelsea Lineup: Sachez, Cucurella, Acheampong, Colwill, Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, Madueke, Palmer, Sancho, Jackson

Notable Changes

The big change is the return of right-back Caicedo with Lavia and Enzo in midfield. That will allow the Ecuadorian to invert into midfield alongside the Belgian when in possession. Madueke coming back in allows for a more direct winger than Neto and balances out the more pass-focused Sancho.

Acheampong comes in as the starting right CB and should keep that spot in the continued absence of Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile. He pairs up well with Colwill and allows the veteran Tosin to feature as a leader for the rotational squad in cups and Conference League matches.

Bournemouth Team

Travers, Huijsen, Kerkez, Cook, Brooks, Christie, Dango, Adams, Hill, Semenyo, Zabarnyi

Stay tuned for the Chelsea confirmed lineup. There will be news as well as discussions on who made the lineup, what tactical tweaks we may see, and more.
