Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has reported that the Red Devils have added the Turkish winger to their transfer wishlist ahead of the 2025 January transfer window. They are, however, quite aware of potential strong competition for the 19-year-old’s signing next year.

It’s added that the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring his situation after watching the winger become a key player for the Italian heavyweights in the beginning of the 2024/25 season. As a result, United could find it pretty tough to sign him over their Premier League rivals next year if Amorim feels there is a desire to sign a quality left-winger, who can also play in the attacking midfield position if needed.
With that being said, the journalist also states that the general feeling for Yildiz right now is that he will be playing for the Bianconeri for the 2025/26 season and might want to move elsewhere the following year.
Why The Hype Over Yildiz?
The 19-year-old winger is attracting a lot of interest from Europe’s top clubs because of his exciting performances so far this season. Earlier this term, Yildiz broke the record to become Juventus’ youngest goal-scorer in UEFA Champions League history after scoring in their 3-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the first league phase game.

He has four goals and three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions for the Bianconeri so far this season, mostly playing on the left wing or as a secondary striker at times. He was hailed for scoring a “spectacular” goal against PSV by Alessandro Del Piero, whose record he broke in the Champions League. Yildiz is an exciting winger with plenty of trickery and creativity by his side, and United will have to work hard to have a chance of signing him next year.
