This January, United once again loaned out Van de Beek, who had played only 21 minutes across all competitions in the first half of the campaign. However, the 27-year-old’s struggles continued at Eintracht Frankfurt as he ended the season with only four Bundesliga starts.

Back to the Netherlands

Van de Beek has returned to the Netherlands to receive treatment for an Achilles injury that he has recently picked up. The midfielder is unlikely to feature again for Eintracht Frankfurt, bringing his loan spell at the club to an abrupt end.
