Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Fulham: ‘Remarkable’ Forward Makes First Start Since Injury

Liverpool travel to West London as they face Brentford in the Premier League. The fixture takes place on February 17 from the Gtech Community Stadium. We bring you the latest news, including updates on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury, and our Liverpool predicted lineup.

How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently

Caoimhin Kelleher started the previous game due to Alisson Becker suffering with the flu.

Both Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have returned from injury and occupied the full-back spots. Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are the centre-backs, but Jarell Quansah has filled in when needed.

Wataru Endo has returned from the Asia Cup and started in the number six role. Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones have left Ryan Gravenberch with limited minutes in the midfield.

Luis Diaz starts on the left-wing, with Diogo Jota on the right. Darwin Nunez completes the front three; the trio all got onto the scoresheet last weekend.

Liverpool’s Recent Form and Tactics

It was a fairly comfortable victory for Liverpool over Burnley in the previous match. A 3-1 victory saw four excellent headers hit the back of the net.

The Clarets did not make it easy though, missing a total of four big chances. Kelleher made two important one-on-one saves, whilst David Datro Fofana missed a third entirely.

Harvey Elliott was the star of the show, coming on for Alexander-Arnold at half-time. With the score at 1-1, Elliott completely changed the game with two superb left-foot crosses from the right-hand side to assist his teammates.

When asked about players returning before the EFL Cup final, Klopp replied: “I think with Dom [Szoboszlai] it will be around that time, we will see how it exactly works”.

However, “Trent [Alexander-Arnold] will probably be after”. The absence of the “world-class player” will be a big miss.

His fellow right-back, Bradley, “is back”. Fabrizio Romano dealt some bad news as he reported that Alisson will be sidelined
