Nizaar Kinsella has revealed that Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is in high demand amongst Saudi Pro League clubs. The player could be on his way out of Old Trafford soon.

United Willing to Let the Player Leave
According to Kinsella, the Brazilian is one of the most wanted players for Saudi clubs at the moment. Casemiro was signed in the summer of 2022 after nine scintillating seasons with Spanish giants, Real Madrid. However, it seems like the player’s adventure in England could be over soon. According to the report, United is open to listening to offers for the midfielder. The club is willing to let him leave for the right price.

The midfield “beast” is currently out of action due to an ankle injury. His constant injury problems could also be a factor behind United’s lack of reluctance to let the player go. Kinsella wrote in his report that: “Casemiro is the player most wanted by Saudi clubs. United are inclined to sell the 31-year-old midfielder, who has been out with an ankle injury since October, for the right price.”
Raphael Varane is another name mentioned by the journalist who could be on his way out of the 20-time Premier League champions. However, they are unlikely to receive any transfer fee for him as they decided against triggering the contract extension clause in his contract.
Casemiro’s Career at Manchester United
The robust midfielder was signed for Erik ten Hag in the summer of 2022 for a massive fee in excess of £50 million. He was signed to address the Red Devils’ defensive midfield issues. Casemiro had an impressive first season at the club where he even scored in the Carabao Cup final. The former Madrid star had come under criticism for his performances just before he injured his ankle in October.

This dip in form has been attributed to him moving past his prime at the ripe age of 31. This seems to be the right time for United to cash in on the seasoned midfielder with high interest from Saudi clubs.
