Romano stated on December 31: “Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Radu Dragusin on a long-term contract.” Having impressed in Serie A with Genoa this year, the 21-year-old is close to earning his big-money move. Dragusin has already established himself as a starter for the Romanian national team. Romano noted that Genoa and Tottenham have not yet agreed to a transfer fee. The Italians want £26 million for the youngster, and Spurs only want to spend around £22 million for him. It appears only a matter of time until the deal is finalised. Romano did end his latest update by saying: “Talks progressing.”

Dragusin’s Coveted Skills

Dragusin has received a great footballing upbringing as part of the Juventus academy. Unable to secure a starting role with the Turin outfit, the Romanian was sent on loan to several domestic rivals before finding his form with Genoa. Since then, the youngster has gained international attention for his defensive skills.
