The BBC’s Senior Football Reporter stated that French outfit Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in Red Devils’ midfielder Casemiro. A former Champions League winner with Real Madrid, the Brazilian veteran play-maker has been with United since the summer of last year.

Stone further reported that Casemiro “seems to have become more important to Man Utd the longer he has been out injured.” Last season, the 31-year-old took the pitch in 28 Premier League fixtures, netting four times in an effort which earned the Red Devils a top-four finish.

Casemiro’s Presence at United

Erik ten Hag has utilized Casemiro in a variety of positions. Naturally a defensive midfielder, the Brazilian national team captain has also been fielded as a defender or even a central midfielder if the Dutch manager sees fit. An ankle injury sustained in a World Cup Qualifying match has left the veteran missing from the United starting lineup.
