Gareth Southgate has called up the 25-year-old defender to the national team squad in the past but he failed to make an appearance due to injury issues. The Three Lions currently have a lot of quality and depth in the right-back spot, including the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier and Reece James.

United Could Face Key Departures

The AFCON will be held in Ivory Coast during the early months of 2024. The tournament will kick off on January 13 and the final is scheduled to be played on February 11.
