This is the Bayern Munich predicted lineup for their opening UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United. The Bavarians are eager to start their continental season with a victory, after failing to beat Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Friday. With the iconic local Oktoberfest already underway, Bayern will see this as an opportunity to get three points early into the festivities.

How Bayern Munich Have Lined Up Recently

Bayern tend to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, which is highly unlikely to change here. Now that nearly all previously injured players have returned to the squad, there is an added depth to the team. Konrad Laimer performed well at right-back in the second half against Gladbach before the international break and started there against Leverkusen. Tuchel will have to serve his suspension for a red card he got in the quarterfinal elimination last season to United’s cross-town-rivals Manchester City. This is not likely to impact the team much.

Bayern Munich Injuries to Consider

Apart from captain Manuel Neuer, they mostly enter this match at full strength.
