‘Done, Sealed’: Fabrizio Romano Drops Major Update as Man Utd Complete Chase for ‘Perfect’ Star

Manchester United during preseason tour

Manchester United’s next signing, who was long a target of the club, has just signed his five-year contract with the option of an extra year at Old Trafford. With the contract running through the summer of 2028, this big name is set to be an Old Trafford regular for seasons to come.

The big news comes from a tweet posted by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Rasmus Hojlund, the player of interest in the tweet, was further labelled as a new Manchester United player in the tweet. One of Romano’s signature post-signing tags, “done, sealed” with the Danish flag appeared at the bottom of the post.

Manchester United to Complete Rasmus Hojlund Signing

Danish Starman Ready to Get to Work

Hojlund signing his contract with United marks the last step in a journey that had the now former Atalanta forward linked with United for weeks – even months. Now the Dane is a Red Devil, and he and his new team can start focusing on the season ahead.

Arriving for over £70 million, assuming all the add-on fees are paid, Hojlund will need to meet the big expectations he faces as a young player who is joining a former European champion, and winner of more Premier League titles than any other club.

Medical Tests Are Done

With the completion of the medical tests required to determine his fitness, Hojlund’s official announcement as a new United player is simply a matter of time. All the necessary actions have been taken, and all three parties have put a bow on this deal.

Atalanta got the money they wanted, United got the player they wanted, and Hojlund will now play for the team he wants to.

Old Trafford will host a game on August 5th as the Red Devils play Ligue 1 team Lens.

Should the “perfect” Danish forward not make his debut appearance on the 5th, United play Athletic Bilbao in Dublin the following day in their final pre-season match.
