United to Hold Talks Over Sabitzer Soon
The Manchester side recently confirmed that Sabitzer will not be able to play any part for them this season after sustaining a knee injury that keeps him out for their final three Premier League games and the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

After this, Romano stated that the Red Devils have not yet made a final decision on whether or not they want to sign the midfielder permanently in the summer. It’s added that United will hold discussions with Bayern over the next few weeks before deciding if they want him to come back next season.
Romano also claims that Sabitzer would love to stay at Old Trafford next season, and there are no doubts about that. The Bundesliga giants, who signed Sabitzer from RB Leipzig for around £13.7 million in 2021, would seemingly be willing to sell him for around £25 million.
Sabitzer’s Impact at Old Trafford
After joining United towards the end of the January transfer window, Sabitzer did not really take much time to fit into Erik ten Hag’s side. The 29-year-old midfielder has played in a variety of different roles for the Red Devils, be it in a deeper midfield role or even as an advanced midfielder and was part of their Carabao Cup final-winning team too.

He has made 18 appearances over the last few months for the Red Devils, scoring three goals and providing an assist. That included a brilliant brace in the 2-2 draw against Sevilla in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final. Sabitzer, who was hailed as a “machine” by teammate Diogo Dalot a few months ago, will now probably have to play the waiting game on his future amid reports that United are eyeing a move for a new midfielder in the form of Adrien Rabiot in the summer.
