What Qualities Mac Allister and Mount Would Bring to Anfield
Mac Allister & Mount would undoubtedly improve the Liverpool midfield, but it’s clear from Romano’s report that Klopp will not be overpaying for any player. “We will bring in players who can help us, 100%,” Klopp said. “Usually we got the players we wanted. If they are overpriced… then we can’t do it. That’s how it is. But I’m pretty sure we will bring in the players that we want.”
The Argentinian would bring a high work rate and ingenuity to the Liverpool midfield. He is an intelligent player whose off-the-ball movement enables him to break the lines effectively. He presses well and is fully aware of his defensive responsibilities, which would make him a great addition to the Anfield midfield.

Mount has enjoyed a disappointing season, with contract talks not appearing to go well thus far with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy. If he was to leave Chelsea for the red half of Merseyside, he would bring a plethora of qualities to Klopp’s midfield. He presses unbelievably well, often forcing opposition players into mistakes. He is adept at finding little pockets of space in the final third and causing opposition players problems. During his more productive spells at Stamford Bridge, he has shown an ability to make late runs into the box to great effect much like Frank Lampard before him.
