Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer. Fabrizio Romano reported on the interest in the Frenchman from the Premier League leaders and other European clubs.

Moussa Diaby Attracting Interest From Arsenal

Who is Moussa Diaby?

Diaby is a 23-year-old winger who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. He joined the German club in 2019 from Paris Saint-Germain and has since established himself as one of the top young players in the league. So far this season, he has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 23 appearances, showcasing his ability to both create chances and finish them.

Versatility and Style of Play

One of the reasons why the Frenchman is such an attractive prospect for clubs is his versatility. He is comfortable playing on either flank, as well as in a central attacking midfield role. He is also known for his pace, dribbling ability and directness, making him a nightmare for opposition defenders.

Meanwhile, PSG, the club where the 23-year-old started his professional career, are also said to be monitoring his progress. The French champions have a strong squad, but they could look to bring him back if the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi were to leave in the summer.

The Future of Moussa Diaby

With interest in Diaby coming from several clubs, it remains to be seen where he will be playing next season. While Arsenal have been monitoring him for some time, they could face stiff competition from the Magpies and PSG, both of whom have the financial resources to make a move for the winger.
