Garnacho Excelling at United Under Erik Ten Hag

The Argentine winger started to earn a lot of United fans’ attention last year, excelling in their U21s side’s FA Youth Cup win last season and ending the competition with the golden boot. Garnacho got his official debut for the Red Devils’ senior side last season, but he’s only started to excel at the senior level after Erik ten Hag took over.

The 18-year-old has already made 23 appearances for the Red Devils this season, scoring three goals. He’s been an impressive option to use from the bench, tormenting opposition sides when coming on as a substitute.

Garnacho has had goal contributions after coming off the bench against rivals Manchester City and Leeds United, assisting Marcus Rashford’s winner against the Citizens and scoring against Leeds. The teenager has received a lot of praise, with ex-Manchester United star Paul Scholes describing the youngster as a “young Cristiano” following his performance against FC Sheriff earlier in the season.
