Why Are Leeds United Signing Weston McKennie?

One of the main reasons for Leeds United to sign Weston McKennie is the loss of Mateusz Klich earlier in the window. After a long stint at the club, the Pole left to join DC United. In spite of fans giving him a fond farewell, this still left a hole in the squad. A drop in form from Brenden Aaronson is another potential issue for the club, with the previously creative number ten increasingly losing the ball in the buildup and wasting the Peacocks’ possession.

How Will Weston McKennie Fit Into the Squad?

The Juventus midfielder’s range of passing and creative flair can add a lot to the way that the Whites go forwards, cracking defences open and providing far more clear-cut chances.
