How Zakharyan Reacted to Chelsea Talks Breaking Down

The 19-year-old midfielder has not lost hope of a move to Stamford Bridge and seemingly remains confident that it is only a matter of time. Days after the summer transfer window closed, he was asked about whether the move broke down and told Russian outlet Sport Express: “There was an offer, but it just didn’t work out. You probably know the reasons.

“How could I refuse? Of course, I agreed [to the move]. I hope everything will be fine. The next window? Maybe.” The Russian teenager is part of Chelsea’s new plan of building a really strong young core that can help them create a super team in 2030 and make them a force to be reckoned with in the future.
