Total Agreement: £59.5 Million Star ‘Now Prepared to Fly’ to England Ahead of Manchester United Move – Romano

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro is “now prepared to fly” to England ahead of his move to Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer insider revealed on Friday that there was a total agreement between all parties involved in the deal, and is now saying that his medical is booked and ready to go.

Why This Is Such an Important Signing for Manchester United

There are several reasons why bringing in Casemiro is such a good addition for the Red Devils.

First and foremost, it means they finally have a natural defensive midfielder, and a world-class one at that. Casemiro will sit very deep, guarding United’s shaky backline and freeing up his fellow midfielders to take up more attacking positions.

In turn, this means, among other things, that we may finally see Fred in the position he was bought to play. When he impressed United scouts at Shakhtar Donetsk, he was lining up in a fairly offensive role, but since his move to Old Trafford he has been forced to cover for their lack of a defensive midfielder, and as such we have never seen his true potential unleashed.

Not only that, but signing Casemiro also demonstrates that United are still an enormous team. They have been able to attract one of the best talents in the game despite the fact that they sit rock bottom of the Premier League following an embarrassing two losses in as many games to kick off Erik ten Hag’s first campaign in the Old Trafford hot seat. If nothing else, this shows that the idea of playing for Manchester United still has an exceptional pull in the world of football.
