He Is Set to Consider All Options Before Deciding on Future
Romano confirmed on Twitter: “Benjamin Sesko will not decide his future before the next week. Meeting scheduled to think about proposals and then make [his] final decision.
“Manchester United are still in talks after meeting with his agent more than two times – but it’s three clubs [in the] race.”
Another club showing concrete interest in the RB Salzburg forward is Chelsea, who have also held meetings with the youngster’s agent.

The Austrian side were adamant on keeping Sesko until at least 2023 and even tied the star down to a five-year contract extension in July 2021. However, interest from the top clubs across Europe could prove to be too tempting for the 19-year-old to see out his contracted time at Salzburg.
Why Is the Salzburg Forward Attracting So Much Interest?
Sesko possesses all the attributes that managers are looking for in a striker in the current market; he is 6’4”, speedy and physically dominant on the ball. In the 2021/22 Austrian Bundesliga campaign, the Slovenian played 24 games and netted five goals.
He showed his prolific goal-scoring ability in last season’s Austrian Cup when he scored five goals in only five games, making it no surprise he’s been compared to the likes of Erling Haaland.
The Slovenian has already opened his Champions League goal tally as well as bagging a goal in one of his five senior appearances for his national side.
Benjamin Sesko: Who Needs Him More?
United appear keen to oversee a deal this summer, which comes as no surprise as their main forward Cristiano Ronaldo is actively seeking a move away from the club, and Anthony Martial has already picked up a hamstring injury ahead of their opening Premier League fixture.

In addition to this, head coach Erik ten Hag is likely relishing the thought of having Sesko deployed up front with skilful wingers Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford on either side of him – a frontline that could prove to be lethal for defenders in the Premier League.
Sesko to Replace Poor Chelsea Strikers?
Chelsea have signed off on £97.5million striker Romelu Lukaku returning on loan to Inter Milan for the season after his highly anticipated return to West London resulted in only eight league goals in 25 games.
Timo Werner was one of the most sought-after strikers across Europe prior to his Chelsea move. In the 2019/20 season, he scored an outstanding 28 goals in 34 Bundesliga matches for RB Leipzig. However, since moving to England, has struggled to replicate this form and has looked a shadow of his former self. The club are open to allowing the German to leave on loan over the summer.

Thomas Tuchel’s side now, consequently, need to fill the void of a promising goalscorer. They completed the signing of four-time Premier League winner Raheem Sterling earlier in the summer, who is able to contribute in front of goal, but will most likely be utilised on the wing. The addition of a young, hungry and eager teenage star will only positively contribute to the project Tuchel has started with his squad.
For Sesko, the Premier League is undoubtedly one of the biggest stages for a young prospect to prove their ability to the world. Whatever decision he is set to make could be crucial for the future of his long career.
