Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz, according to Fabrizio Romano. With that being said, Romano reports that Los Blancos want to sign Ruiz as a free agent next summer when his contract expires.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of Ruiz as he signed him at Napoli in 2018, originally bringing in the player from Real Betis. This is a situation that the Spanish giants will be monitoring.
Real Madrid are interested in signing Fabián Ruiz as free agent in summer 2023. Of course, deal depends on what happens with Napoli in August. ⚪️🇪🇸 #RealMadrid

Real Madrid Are Interested in Fabian Ruiz
Strengthening the Midfield
Los Blancos have been one of the most dominant teams in football for quite some time now. A lot of the success, especially in the last decade, can be attributed to the team’s midfield.
The core trio includes Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Casemiro. That trio is getting older, however. Modric is 36 years old, whereas Kroos is 32 and Casemiro is 30. The team also has a strong youth core. Aurelien Tchouameni joined this summer, and his desire to join the club was always clear. Eduardo Camavinga debuted last season and was a hit. Federico Valverde is also very promising.
Ruiz is 26 years old now. He’s been a constant in Napoli’s midfield, aiding in their mission of consistently making the Champions League. His experience with Ancelotti and in La Liga, but also on the Spain National Team, is obviously attractive to Real Madrid. It goes without saying that possibly bringing in Ruiz on a free deal will likely be a major steal for Los Blancos.
