Chelsea are interested in English and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling, according to Fabrizio Romano. Manager Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the player so he’s on near the top of the club’s transfer list. At the moment, however, there are no talks between Chelsea and Manchester City. Chelsea is more so exploring the conditions of a potential deal.
Other deals that may affect Chelsea’s interest are those involving Romelu Lukaku and Ousmane Dembele.

Chelsea Are Interested in Raheem Sterling
A Strong Attacking Option
Chelsea’s attack is likely going to look different next season. Lukaku is pushing his way out back to Inter Milan after a disappointing season. Timo Werner hasn’t quite lived up to expectations. The futures of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech aren’t completely certain. It remains to be seen what happens, but for these reasons, Chelsea may pursue Sterling.
Besides being extremely experienced in the Premier League for City and Tottenham, Sterling is only 27 years old. He’s in the midst of his prime years now.
Sterling scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 30 Premier League appearances for City last season. This, of course, comes on a very crowded attacking line. The season prior, 2020/21, saw Sterling score 10 goals and provided eight assists.
His best stretch for City came from 2017/18 to 2019/20. Sterling made 100 Premier League appearances and racked up 55 goals and 30 assists.
Sterling’s shown to be a game-changer both on the pitch and around a club. A move to Chelsea would not only improve the product on the pitch but give the club added leadership as they move forward into another chapter.
