Rangers Agree Deal for Amad Diallo
Time to Shine
There is no doubts about Amad’s talent. It’s clear that he has that in abundance. But, at 19, he needs first-team football to reach his full potential – something Rangers will give him. At Manchester United, despite the recent loan exit of Anthony Martial, the young forward’s chances of gaining a place in Ralf Rangnick’s side were slim.
Amad very much looks like a player ready to reach another level; a player on the cusp of becoming a world-beater. And Manchester United will be well aware of that. For now, it’s about aiding the develop, something that, as of right now, can only be done via a loan move away.
Next season, after what everyone at Old Trafford will hope to be a successful loan move, the youngster may just have himself a place under whoever finds themselves in charge at United. The fact is, no matter the recent dismay, United fans can hold onto the knowledge that Amad will eventually become an important player.
Welcoming a player of Amad’s quality, Rangers fans should be delighted with the deal. It will be interesting to see how exactly the United loanee links up with his temporary teammates in the coming months, and just how much of an impact he has on the title race in Scotland.
