Sevilla have reached an agreement to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial on loan.
To say that Martial has suffered a fall from grace would be an understatement. The Frenchman – once so highly rated that a Ballon D’or clause was placed into his deal to join Manchester United from AS Monaco – now is set to be unveiled at Sevilla.

Chance for Anthony Martial to Regain Form
At his best, Anthony Martial can be one of the most dangerous forwards around. For whatever reason, however, he hasn’t been at that threatening best since the 19/20 season, in which he scored 23 goals, and assisted a further 12 in 48 games. With that form in mind, he was expected to lead Manchester United’s frontline for years to come.
Like The Red Devils as a whole, though, Martial has been on a downward spiral ever since. And, now, a loan move, and perhaps a last-gasp attempt to revive a slowly dying career at the top, beckons.
We’ve saw how much Jesse Lingard benefitted from a loan move away last season. The midfielder thrived at West Ham – eventually regaining his England place as a result. If Martial can revamp his career in similar fashion, and rediscover his best form, then Manchester United will have themselves a player reader to be a game changer.
With the deal now agreed, Martial will look to kickstart his career in Seville. Perhaps La Liga could be the place to be to do just that, too. If they can get the best out of him, we could get one of the most unexpected title races for years in Spain’s top division. It’s certainly a deal that the rest of the league will be wary of in Spain.
