According to Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports, Josha Vagnoman has emerged as a transfer target for Brentford. The Bees have been in the market for a right-back following the departure of Henrik Dalsgaard earlier in the summer.

The Bees have been reportedly scouting the full-back for a couple of years now. They are now considering the 20-year-old as one of the replacements for Dalsgaard.
Dalsgaard left Brentford to join Danish side FC Midtjylland on a free transfer last month. He had spent three seasons at the club, making 162 appearances. The Denmark international was one of the players who started for Brentford in their Championship play-off final win over Swansea City.
A Hamburg native, Vagnoman has been part of Die Rothosen since 2010. The full-back joined the German side as a ten-year-old and made his debut for the senior team in 2018, becoming the youngest player in club history.
The young German slowly developed over the years before establishing himself as the club’s right-back last season. Despite their spirited efforts, Hamburg finished fourth in German second division, a couple of points behind Holstein Kiel who advanced to the promotion play-offs. Vagnoman made 25 appearances for Hamburg last season, scoring two goals and making two assists.
A Tough Season Expected for the Bees
Brentford are back in England’s top division for the first time since 1947. The Bees had fallen at the final hurdle on several occasions before finally gaining promotion at the end of last season. Brentford have a big task at hand as they embark on their first top-flight season in 74 years.
The Bees have once again been clever in the transfer market. They have signed Frank Oneyka and Kristoffer Ajer and have also added talented youngsters like Daniel Oyegoke and Myles-Peart Harris.
