Quality Midfield Addition

The Cypriot will add plenty of quality to the Stevenage midfield as they look to fend off the threat of relegation.

Roles spent the first half of the season on loan with Burton Albion, making just two appearances in that time. Spurs are keen to see him play more first-team football, meaning he has dropped down a division to League Two.

It is the 21-year-old’s second loan away from North London, having spent last season on loan with Cambridge United. He impressed during his time at the Abbey Stadium, scoring five goals in 25 appearances.

Speaking about his new signing to the Stevenage club website, manager Alex Revell said: “We are delighted to bring Jack to the football club.

“He is a hugely talented player and will add a great deal of guile and craft into the team. He proved last season that he has what it takes to be a success in the division, so we are really looking forward to introducing him to our group.”

New Addition in Attack

Stevenage have also looked to add to their attack on deadline day, confirming the arrival of Jahmal Hector-Ingram on loan from Derby County.

The 22-year-old is highly-rated at Pride Park after an impressive 2019/20 season for their U23 side. He registered ten goals in 17 appearances, helping the Rams to finish fourth in their division.

As a result of his performances, Hector-Ingram was rewarded with a move up to the first-team this season. He made seven appearances during the first half of this season, all of which have come as a substitute.

Revell said: “Jahmal is a really exciting young talent and we are thrilled to have him at Stevenage.

β€œHe will bring real dynamism to our attack and has a huge appetite to score goals.”
