Marsh Arrives From Boreham Wood

Stevenage announced via their website they had signed the striker. Marsh arrives from Boreham Wood where he scored 15 goals last season. The length of his contract hasn’t been revealed.

Marsh is a vastly experienced striker and knows how to score goals. He has featured for the likes of Dover Athletic, Macclesfield Town, Torquay United and most recently Boreham Wood. At the age of 26, Marsh should be coming into his prime and Stevenage will hope he is the man to sharpen their blunt attack.

Marsh is Stevenage’s seventh summer signing following the conclusion of the 2019/20 season. Their future is yet to be decided with the EFL taking Macclesfield Town to court. For now, Alex Revell is planning for both divisions with a decision due in the next few weeks.

Speaking to the Stevenage website about his move, Marsh said: “I had a chat with the gaffer and he sold the club to me. He had been watching me for a while now and we had a good conversation so I can’t wait to get going.”

Alex Revell Excited By Marsh Signing

Manager Alex Revell added, “I am really excited at the signing of Tyrone.

“He has had a superb season for Boreham Wood, scoring 15 goals and being a major contributor to the brilliant season they had.

“He is a superb athlete and his first thought when he receives the ball is to be positive and direct with his dribbling, to create and to score goals.

“I am delighted he has chosen to join this fantastic club to help us reach our goals and to help make him into the player we all believe he can become.

“As I have said before we are only looking to sign players with the right character, work ethic and athleticism. Tyrone fits all of these and it’s fantastic to have him on board.”
