Both Sides Looking to Regain Form?

Project restart has not been kind to either side.

Since football’s return on June 20, Brendan Rodger’s Leicester City are without a win in four games. Draws against Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion were followed by defeats to Everton and Chelsea, the latter of which came in the FA Cup.

Crystal Palace have not looked the same side since their 2-0 over Bournemouth. Lacklustre defeats to Liverpool and Burnley have not seen them slide dramatically down the table, but have dented their confidence in the process.

With both sides involved in battles for European places – although Palace’s is slightly more strenuous – there is all to play for at the King Power Stadium

Leicester City vs Crystal Palace: Head to Head Record

Leicester ended a run of five games without a win against Palace with a 2-0 win over the Eagles in November.

It is the south London Club who have enjoyed the recent success. The Eagles had won four of the previous games by an aggregate score of 13-1, the last of which was a 4-1 thrashing of the Foxes at the King Power Stadium.

Team News

Brendan Rodgers could be without James Maddison at the King Power Stadium. The midfielder aggravated a previous injury in their 2-1 defeat to Everton.

However, the England international is the only present injury update, as right-back Ricardo Pereira remains sidelined.

Roy Hodgson has been dealt with an ounce of positivity ahead of their visit. Christian Benteke is available once again after missing the last two games.
