How the Situation Came to Light

Kamba, a former teammate of Manuel Neuer, played in the illustrious Schalke youth set-up until 2007 when he was ultimately released, carving out a career in the German lower divisions.

After his family were deported back to Congo in 2005, Kamba was granted permission to stay due to his position as a youth-team player in the Schalke ranks.

A talented right-back in his day, it was reported that Kamba had lost his life in a fatal car accident in his native Congo whilst on vacation with friends.

However, recent revelations have come to light as Kamba was recently spotted in the Ruhr area of Germany, casually returning to work at his old job as a chemist for a power supplier.

Kamba revealed that during this return to his motherland, ”his companions had left him during the night while on a trip to the interior of the Congo in January 2016 and they took his papers, money and telephone.” Leaving him stuck, Kamba returned to Germany two years later.

Investigation for Fraud

This 2016 hoax has now become a police investigation as it is claimed that Kamba’s unnamed ex-wife has cashed in on a six-figure life insurance payment after presenting false documents which proved his untimely ‘death’.

How Kamba’s ex-wife forged these documents remains a mystery to all, including Kamba himself who had been none the wiser the whole time.

However, amidst this crazy situation, Essen city attorney general Annette Milk will now lead a public prosecution case for fraud against the unnamed ex-wife, who in turn denies these claims.

As if this situation couldn’t get any more bizarre, it is claimed that Kamba will be called in as a witness to testify against his former wife, claiming his innocence in this entire plot and that he had no idea his wife was profiting from his quote, unquote ‘death’.
