Why Manchester United Have the Edge in Jadon Sancho Race

Interest in Jadon Sancho

One of the worst kept secrets in football, Manchester United’s interest in Jadon Sancho is very public knowledge.

The Red Devils are looking for a right-winger, with Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard both having failed to impress there, and Sancho seems the perfect target.

The 20-year-old has 14 goals and 15 assists in the Bundesliga, an excellent tally, especially for someone of his age, and has been a star player for Borussia Dortmund this season.

A transfer to United would work very well, with the Red Devils getting a world-class and talented young winger and Sancho being first choice at a team with many young prospects. And Marcus Rashford.

Marcus Rashford’s Rise at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford’s rise at Manchester United has been an extraordinary one. He scored a brace on his senior debut in the Europa League, and then scored another two goals in his first Premier League match, against Arsenal.

The Englishman looked to have a tremendous amount of promise, going on to net the winning goal against sworn rivals Manchester City among others, and has turned out very well.

Rashford is now one of the Red Devils’ best players, being their top scorer this season, and overall brilliant performances. Jadon Sancho relishes the chance to play alongside him, according to the report.

Marcus Rashford gives Manchester United an edge over the competition in their race for Sancho. They have played together for the England national team, clearly developing a friendship, and would make a formidable partnership in United’s front line should he join.
