Manchester United Handed Yet Another Jadon Sancho Transfer Boost

Excellent Performances

Jadon Sancho has performed admirably for Borussia Dortmund this season. The English winger has 14 goals (third in the Bundesliga), 15 assists (second in the league) and his overall direct goal involvements rank him first in Germany’s first division.

Furthermore, his assist count is the third highest in Europe’s top five leagues.

For a 20-year-old, these are some remarkable stats, and he is likely to only improve from here.

This has attracted lots of interest from all over Europe, and Manchester United are at the forefront of this. Although a £120 million transfer fee would smash their club record, United are still confident they can sign Sancho in the summer, and are willing to fork out the cash.

Fitting With the Rebuild

If United manage to lure the 20-year-old to Old Trafford, he would fit perfectly with their rebuild.

Firstly, he is young and British, two of the characteristics that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking into the most. The likes of Jack Grealish, Jude Bellingham and James Maddison, who are targets of the Manchester side, also fit these categories, and they are just a few of the many.

Secondly, he is quick, and would add even more pace to United’s electric attack. The likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Daniel James are all lightening fast, and the acquisition of Sancho would only add to this perfectly.

Finally, the Red Devils need a right-winger. Although James can play there, he is not a fully developed player, and can play on the left as well. Sancho has shown his maturity, and ability to bag many goals and assists, and would be a fantastic addition to United’s team.

Most Recent Jadon Sancho Transfer Boost

According to the report, Borussia Dortmund do not plan to stand in Sancho’s way should he wish to depart in the summer, a huge boost for United.

Although Chelsea are among the clubs who also have a chance to sign the youngster, United seem to be leading the pack, and with transfer fee negotiations looking to be fairly straight forward, this deal could go ahead soon.
