Lincoln City have confirmed that they have added four new players to their squad, including Arsenal youngster Tyreece John-Jules on loan until the end of the season.

Two Players On Loan

The Imps have confirmed the signings of Tyreece John-Jules and Conor Coventry, who join on loan from Arsenal and West Ham.

Despite having not made a first-team appearance, John-Jules is highly-regarded at Arsenal He has featured on the bench for the first-team squad three times this season.

However, he has been in good form for Arsenal’s under-23, registering five goals in 12 games.

Furthermore, the 18-year-old is joined by West Ham youngster Coventry in signing on loan until the end of the season.

In contrast to his Arsenal counterpart, Coventry has featured in the Hammers first-team on one occasion. He played 45 minutes in their 8-0 hammering of Macclesfield Town last season in the EFL Cup.

Two Permanent Signings

As well as making two additions until the end of the season, Lincoln boss Michael Appleton has also added two permanent additions to his squad.

Firstly, they have signed Max Melbourne to a permanent deal at the LNER Stadium.

The 21-year-old has spent the first half of the season on loan from West Bromwich Albion, making four appearances during that time. He has often acted as cover for current left-back Harry Toffolo.

However, he has now committed to extending his stay, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Meanwhile, the Imps have also completed the permanent signing of Tayo Edun from Fulham.

The 21-year-old featured sporadically at Craven Cottage, making just appearances for Fulham.

As a result, he spent last season on loan with Ipswich Town, where he made seven appearances; however, he could not prevent the Tractor Boys being relegated to League One.

Edun has also signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at the LNER Stadium.
