Transfer Rumours: Mario Mandzukic, Toby Alderweireld and More

Transfer Rumours – Mario Mandzukic

Mario Mandzukic has been attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Manchester United. However, according to Calciomercato, the Premier League giants are now facing competition from Los Angeles FC.

The 33-year-old has fallen out of favour at Juventus and, as a result, is exploring his options. He recently turned down an approach from Qatari club Al Rayyan.

However, now he looks set to be available in January, according to Sky sources. Mario Mandzukic would certainly be a short term fix to Manchester United’s problems in attack.

Manchester United Targeting Toby Alderweireld?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also looking to increase his options at centre-back. According to Insidefutbol, Manchester United are targeting a deal for Toby Alderweireld in January.

The Belgian central defender has been ever-present at the back for Tottenham since his move in 2014. Last season he made 50 appearances in all competitions.

United will be able to sign Alderweireld in a cut-price deal, as the 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer.

Arsenal Scouting Hungarian Striker?

Wayne Veysey of Football Insider writes that Arsenal are scouting Hungarian striker Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Hungarian currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. He currently has three goals in all competitions, including one in the opening game of Salzburg’s UEFA Champions League campaign.

Unai Emery is keen to seal the signing of the 18-year-old in January. However, it is likely that he would remain out on loan.

Adama Traore Attracting Interest from Serie A Side

Italian publication Calciomercato are reporting that Wolverhampton Wanderers winger, Adama Traore, is attracting interest from AS Roma.

Traore has started to establish himself within the Wolves lineup, having made 21 appearances from the bench last season. So far this season he has made seven appearances, four of which were starts. As a result, Nuno Espirito Santo may be reluctant to see his winger leave.
