Last Season

The 21-year-old enjoyed an emphatic season with French side Rennes last season. He scored 12 goals last season – including four in the Europa League – as well as registering four assists.

The highlight of his season may have come during Rennes’ run to the round of 16 of the Europa League. He scored during their 3-1 win home win over Arsenal; however, they lost the tie over two legs.

How Will Ismaila Sarr Fit in at Watford?

Ismaila Sarr is likely to be a key figure for the Hornets next season. He will provide quality on the wing for manager Javi Gracia.

He will provide stern competition for the likes of Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra. The former was one of the highlights for Watford last season as he scored 12 goals in 30 games, top-scoring for the Hornets. Pereyra meanwhile made 33 appearances as Watford finished 11th in the Premier League, scoring six times.

Successful Window?

Watford have quietly gone about their business this summer. They have added just three first-team additions, including former Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.

Javi Gracia first added Craig Dawson to his defence. Dawson joined on a four-year deal and adds Premier League experience to the Watford defence, having been relegated with West Brom.

Danny Welbeck was the next through the door at Vicarage Road. He will be looking to revive his career at Watford following a string of injuries. Welbeck could prove one of the signings of the summer should he stay fit.

They have also prepared for the future with the addition of Joao Pedro, who will join in January. The 17-year-old is highly regarded in South America.
