Latest on Alisson, Thibaut Courtois, Zidane and Richarlison

Alisson to Liverpool

After years of goalkeeping lapses that have cost Liverpool at the most crucial of times, they are now looking to break the world record for a goalkeeper with the signing of Roma’s Alisson. A phenomenal season at Roma has seen the Brazilian keeper attract the attention of several clubs from across Europe. Liverpool are currently the favourites to sign the keeper, and reports suggest they have already put in a bid of £62 million. However, Roma, have set their asking price slightly higher at £66 million.

Thibaut Courtois Off to Madrid?

2018 World Cup golden glove winner Thibaut Courtois has caught the eye of Real Madrid. Reports are saying that a deal between Chelsea and Real Madrid is already agreed at £35 million. Many were shocked by the rather cheap price-tag for the world-class keeper, however, with only one year left on his contract, Chelsea wanted to cash in this summer as opposed to losing him for free next year. Rumours suggested that teammate Eden Hazard could also be joining Courtois in the Spanish capital, but, the Blues have made it very clear that they are not willing to let Hazard go.

Zidane’s Reunion with Ronaldo

After three successive Champions League wins with Real Madrid earlier this summer, Zinedine Zidane resigned from his position as head coach at Real Madrid. This week, reports claim that the Frenchman could be set for a sensational move to Juventus to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo. However, he will not be managing the Old Lady; instead, he will take on the role of Technical Director at the Italian club. Zidane’s appointment could be announced later this week.

Richarlison to Follow Silva

Marco Silva had an eventful time at Watford, from hero to zero within a matter of weeks. Silva was appointed manager of Everton and Richarlison could be following shortly. Everton spent a lot of money last season, however, they weren’t able to break into the top six, or earn themselves a spot in Europe. Richarlison was impressive for Watford and a move to Everton could be on, if the Merseyside club are willing to pay his price tag of roughly £28 million.
