With the 2026 NBA Finals over, the NBA draft will really take center stage. Here is a look at the 9 international draft prospects in 2026. Who will be selected?

Analyzing The 9 International Draft Prospects Remaining in the 2026 NBA Draft, and Where They Will Be Selected

Mohammad Amini

Amini is a big, score-first wing with some defensive potential. However, his game is littered with question marks. As a result, the 20-year-old Iranian is projected to go undrafted with an outside chance of being a late second-round pick. He has played the last two seasons for Nancy Baskets in the French Jeep League, where he has struggled.

Amini averaged 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds with shooting splits of 45.5/25.6/60.9 this past season. He scored in double figures in eight of his 30 appearances.

Amini stands at 6-7 with a 6-foot-10 wingspan. and some defensive potential. Amini has proven to be an efficient scorer in the paint with a soft touch from mid-range. He also does a good job at attacking closeouts and has shown playmaking ability. However, he needs to add muscle and improve his shooting — from beyond the arc and at the charity stripe, 3-point. Ousamane Dieng, a young Deni Avidja, and Kyle Kuzma (if jumper develops) are good comps.

Vsevolod Ishchenko

Ischenko took a major step in his second year with Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban, earning Newcomer of the Year honors. The 21-year-old is a potential second-round pick, though he is likely to go undrafted, and if selected, he will likely remain overseas as a stash prospect.

Ischenko averaged 8.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals in 48 games this past season. The 6-7 wing produced two double-doubles and scored in double figures 18 times, while compiling shooting splits of 50.6/45.1/78.1.

Ischenko has good size and showed the ability to be an efficient scorer with some playmaking chops. He also showed some ability and versatility on the defensive end — capable of guarding 2-4 — with his quick hands being an asset. A few areas of concern include: not possessing elite athleticism, ball-handling, and team defense.  Dalano Banton, Corey Kispert, and a young Franz Wagner are solid comps.
