Analyzing The 9 International Draft Prospects Remaining in the 2026 NBA Draft, and Where They Will Be Selected

Jack Kayil

Jack Kayil, who committed to play for Gonzaga this year, improved his production in his first season with German Club Alba Berlin. The Berlin native was named the Basketball Champions League’s Best Young Player this season after averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds with shooting splits of 38.1/29.8/78.1. He is projected to be a late first-round or early second-round pick, though a second-round selection is most likely (No. 33-45).

Kayil is a physical, high-IQ combo guard with two-way potential—Kayil sees the floor well and is an excellent passer. The 6-5,185-pounder, who plays with pace, works well out of pick-and-rolls. He also possesses strong defensive tools and can guard all three backcourt positions.

His lack of elite athleticism and 3-point shooting are concerns.  Andrew Nembhard, Jalen Suggs, and Dyson Daniels are strong player comps.s
