Out of This World Dominance
The number three ranked Kris Statlander will be going up against Ashley D’Amboise. Statlander is 11-0 so far in 2021 with no signs of slowing down. The undefeated and beloved alien being extended her streak after scoring a win in tag team action with Tay Conti against Madi Wrenkowski and The Bunny. After quite a back and forth between the two teams, Statlander finished the proceedings with her patented Big Bang Theory finishing maneuver, hitting it on Wrenkowski for the win.
Since coming back from her injury, Statlander has been a force to be reckoned with as of late and it seems like she’s hellbent on clawing her way back to the very top of the women’s rankings. Will Angelica Risk make a name for herself in her AEW debut or will Kris Statlander “boop” the competition on her way back to the top and her 12th straight win?
Fear Is in the Eye of the Beholder
Darby Allin seems to have rekindled his kindred spirit after his entanglement with “All Ego” Ethan Page. Ever since his Coffin Match at Fyter Fest Night One, Allin has got his groove and confidence back. He even stated last week, on AEW Dynamite, that he wants nothing more than to be challenged. He is indeed ready for absolutely anyone to stand toe to toe against him, even if it means “The Best In The World”. Whoever he is referring to will be revealed through time. For this week, he has his hands full against Bear Bronson.
One-half of the monstrous Bear Country, Bear Bronson certainly has the power advantage and will be the odds on favorite if the eye test is anything to go by. Bronson outweighs Darby by 90 pounds and that’s a glaring difference that can prove to be a tipping point for this contest. If anyone can withstand any adversity or challenge, it’s Darby Allin. This man will go through hell and high water just to pull off the upset. Will Bronson maul the man who refuses to die or will Allin, once again, will his way to victory?
