MJF vs Sammy Guevara headlines AEW Dynamite on its return to Wednesday nights AEW Dynamite results

AEW Dynamite kicks off its return to Wednesday nights this week with a jam-packed show on its grand return. The last AEW Dynamite of June will be a good one, as AEW brings fans two matches with championship implications as the TNT Championship will be on the line, as well as an AEW World Tag Team Eliminator match. The AEW Women’s World Champion will be in tag team action. For the first time “The Spanish God” of The Inner Circle will be going up against the young patriarch of The Pinnacle in the main event of the evening. If last week’s explosive edition of AEW Dynamite does not get you excited for what’s coming, we don’t know what will. We finally get to say say it once again because as “Good Ol'” Jim Ross will tell you “It’s Wednesday Night, and you know what that means!” Time for another rousing edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite. So, let’s run it down.

The Road To Gold

The patience of Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston has grown extremely thin with the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks. Brothers Matt and Nick Jackson have gone out of their merry way to antagonize the duo in the worst ways they could think of. The Bucks would injure Eddie’s long-time friend Jon Moxley back at Double or Nothing putting him out of commission indefinitely. But, they did not stop there. The Young Bucks put two-thirds of Death Triangle on the shelf as they battered senseless both PAC and Rey Fenix in their quest for unrelenting domination. Both Penta and Eddie have a chip on their shoulder and championship gold on their minds.

As come this Wednesday, Kingston and Penta will have a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships at a later date if they manage to get one up on the champions. Both Matt and Nick will show no signs of being intimidated but if anyone could strike fear into the hearts of their opponents, it’s Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks better be ready for war as they go up against the man with “Zero-Fear” and a competitor who’s considered the baddest S.O.B. All Elite Wrestling has on their payroll. Will Penta and Eddie achieve retribution and a shot at the gold or will The Young Bucks put another rabbit out of their bag of tricks and come unscathed?

Main Event Mayhem

MJF vs Sammy Guevara Graphic

MJF will be locked in battle against his longtime nemesis, Sammy Guevara. Surprisingly, this is the first time these two will ever go one and one – and, in the main event of Dynamite, no less. Anyone would be forgiven if one assumed these two have been fighting each other since they first laid eyes on each other. But, that’s not at all the case. They have indeed fought each other but with their respective factions – being The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle – alongside them. However, they have never met mano a mano. The playing field is now even. Knowing the history and ever-growing hatred between these two, once the bell rings, the gloves are off. This will be a fight brought on by pent-up aggression and resentment. The distaste for each other is strong and the match that will ensure will be a testament to that. MJF versus Sammy Guevara headlines AEW Dynamite on the return to Wednesday nights. A Grudge Match you will not dare miss.
