Chris Brookes Produce Show 3 is scheduled for April 4. These shows have slowly introduced various DDT concepts while being aimed at an English-speaking audience. The last event began adding a bit more of the DDT comedy flavor that the company has become known for. This third event will feature a DDT Extreme Championship defense. The card is as follows.
MEN’S Club (MEN’s Teioh, Hagane Shinno, Makoto Oishi) vs. The37Kamina (Yuki Ueno, MAO) and Keigo Nakamura
One of the Chris Brookes Produce Show 3 matches will pit the past of DDT against the stars of the future. MEN’s Club will take on The37Kamina, formerly known as Sauna Club. This match will be unpredictable, but entertaining for sure, as the current universal champion in Yuki Ueno and MAO are known for their tag team prowess. Keigo Nakamura is a wild card. While MEN’s Club consists of veteran stars, they have not slowed down. Which will win out: experience or youth?
HARASHIMA vs. Baliyan Akki
Baliyan Akki put in an impressive performance at the last Chris Brookes Produce Show but ultimately came up short. On Chris Brookes Produce Show 3, he gets a chance to make up for that loss. On this show, he will take on HARASHIMA. It’s a steep hill to climb, but there’s always a chance that an upset could be had. With a chance against another one of the top stars of DDT in HARASHIMA, that is sure to be a motivator for the young athlete from India.
DDT Extreme Title No DQ Falls Count Anywhere: Mecha Mummy vs. Chris Brookes
Chris Brookes recently won the DDT Extreme Championship from Shunma Katsumata in a barbed wire casket match; this show’s main event marks his first defense. His first choice for the defense was Mecha Mummy. To provide context, Mecha Mummy‘s last showing in DDT was a no-contest against Hyper Misao after both were incapacitated due to water. Mecha Mummy is a serious threat to Chris Brookes’ reign, especially given his built-in weaponry and knowledge of falls count anywhere matches. Brookes is going to have to be crafty and use every skill he has in order to retain the title from his mechanical opponent.
